Alameda Native History Project Give-Away

Show your support!

Contribute towards the effort of recognition and restoration for your local indigenous Muwekma Ohlone tribal homeland.

Honor the first peoples of the San Francisco Bay Area by naming them, and acknowledging that we live on unceded Muwekma Ohlone Land.

Empower our local representatives to speak of Ohlone people in the present; because the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe of the San Francisco Bay Area is still here, and thriving, for over 10,000 years.

Encourage local museums and historical societies to include Ohlone voices and lived experiences in their own words.

10% of all donations go directly to the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe.

Your genorosity ALSO goes toward:
  • Production of Educational Materials (Maps, Models, etc.)
  • Printed Material and Swag (Stickers, Buttons, Pins, etc.)
  • Space/Venue Rentals & Event Insurance
  • Travel Expenses (Gas, Parking, Tolls, etc.)
  • Cost of Website (Hosting & Domain)

About Our Funding

The Alameda Native History Project is the result of thousands of hours of research and work by one individual.

All webmastering, artwork, product designs, research, map making, button pressing, and more, are done independently, and in-house.

This project is not currently funded through any kind of grant or sponsorship.

However, we would like this to change; in order to rent space, and pay for the insurance necessary to hold events and workshops which you are invited to attend, and help support.

If you are interested in supporting the Alameda Native History Project by sponsoring an event, or providing venue space, catering, or other goods & services, please contact us at collab@alamedanativehistoryproject.com.

We are excited about the programs and events we are planning for the very near future, and can’t wait to give you updates as more information becomes available.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
